Day 1      Arrival in BUDAPEST (Hungary)
Arrival in Budapest (Ferenc Liszt International Airport). Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Leisure time. Dinner in the evening.

Day 2       BUDAPEST
Breakfast. Sightseeing of the most interesting places in Budapest (with a guide). Drive through the Pest district: the Heroes’ Square, Andrássy Avenue, St. Stephen’s Basilica, beautiful Parliament building. Walk on the other bank of the Danube River – the part of the city called Buda, where Mátyás Church on the Castle Hill is located. From the nearby Fisherman’s Bastion you will see a beautiful view of the city and the river. In the evening, a boat cruise on the Danube River (dinner included).

Day 3       BUDAPEST – CRACOW (Poland)
Breakfast. Departure from Budapest. The route goes through Slovakia to Poland – on the way you will see picturesque mountain views. Arrival in Cracow. Check-in at the hotel. Evening walk round the beautifully-illuminated Main Market Square. Dinner.

Day 4       CRACOW
Breakfast. Guided walking tour round the centre of Cracow. Visit to the Royal Wawel Castle and Cathedral, housing the royal tombs. Next, a stroll along the lanes of the Old Town. On the way, you will see, among others: the oldest university building in Poland - the Collegium Maius. A walk to the main square of the Old Town – the largest market square of medieval Europe. A visit to St. Mary’s Basilica where you can admire the priceless altarpiece carved in wood in the 16th century by Veit Stoss. A trip to Wieliczka and visit to the underground Salt Mine. Return to Cracow. Dinner.

Day 5      CRACOW – AUSCHWITZ – CRACOW
Breakfast. Departure to Oświęcim. Visit to the former Nazi extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, where, during World War II, an estimated 1.3 million people perished, most of them Jews from Poland and Central Europe, as well as Poles. A tour of the camp includes the Auschwitz permanent exhibition, the primary camp set up by the Nazis in 1940, and the most important parts of Birkenau: the former camp area, barracks, the unloading ramp and ruins of gas chambers and crematoria. Return to Cracow and leisure time. Dinner.

Day 6       CRACOW – BERLIN (Germany)
Breakfast. Departure to Germany. Evening arrival in Berlin. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner.

Day 7       BERLIN
Breakfast. Guided tour of Berlin. On the way, you will see: the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag building, the Unter den Linden Avenue, Berlin Cathedral and and Alexander Square. Next, a visit to the Berlin Wall Museum, including the crossing point: Checkpoint Charlie, dating back to the times when Germany was divided. Stroll to Potsdamer Platz – modern shopping and entertainment centre. Leisure time. Dinner.

Day 8       BERLIN – POTSDAM – BERLIN
Breakfast. Trip to Potsdam. Visit to the palace and park complex of Sanssouci. Next, a drive to the Cecilienhof Palace. Return to Berlin. Leisure time. Dinner.

Day 9      Departure from BERLIN
Breakfast. Check-out. Transfer to the airport.
